A New Photography Series: “About Face” by Rino Noto
The gallery is pleased to announce our first exhibition by photographer Rino Noto featuring his most recent work "About Face". The show will run from May 9 to May 29, 2009 with an opening reception on Saturday, May 9th from 6 pm to 10 pm.

In a series of portraits from the famous to the less known, Rino Noto examines the convergence of light and shadow to produce the expression of the human spirit.
With a reverential depth, he violates the usual directives of light and focus.
Prominence is reserved for tiny slivers of light that reveal the spirit with an unsuspected richness.
His approach, exposing each subject as a burning flame or a quiet flicker, every soul at its heart a glowing ember in the enduring fire of all humanity.
The portraits include: Professor / Author Umberto Eco, Actor Tony Nardi, Director / Writer - Jerry Ciccoritti, Singer / Songwriter Murray McLauchlan, Musician Jeff Martin, Artist Shelley Adler.
